Bacchanal Jamaica – Pre Carnival Fete

On Friday January 7, Bacchanal Jamaica introduces its first New Year pre-carnival fete and answers the call of revelers eager to ring in the New Year in soca style.

Still the official home for the Mas Camp for 2011, 1C Oxford Road will open its doors to allow soca lovers the chance to jump, wave and get on bad to the sounds of their favorite soca tunes. Musical styling for this event will be provided by ‘The Party Animal’ DJ Kurt Riley and DJ Smoke of Renaissance Disco.

The excitement of the soca season continues with the official kickoff for the Mas Camp on February 18 and will showcase this year’s theme “Once Upon a Dynasty”. Transporting patrons to a time of forgotten lands and lost empires, patrons will also have the opportunity to view and purchase costumes for this year’s parade. Limited costumes will be available to pre-order online at an earlier date to be announced.

Also returning to the roster for the season are the popular Bacchanal Jamaica events such as Bacchanal Beach Jouvert to be held on April 23 at James Bond Beach, and Bacchanal Jouvert on April 29 at the Mas Camp Village. The weekly Friday night festivities will commence on February 18 and will feature a different theme each week leading up to the explosive Bacchanal Jamaica road parade on May 1.

All roads lead to Bacchanal Jamaica this Friday as the party starts at 8:00pm sharp and admission for the must attend event is $800 presold, $1000 at the gate. Limited VIP tickets are available for $2500 and includes parking, all inclusive bar and food. Tickets are available at the Mas Camp from Wednesday.
