Caribbean Week New York 2016

The first week of June in New York is officially Caribbean Week.  Let’s not let the powers that be know that to Caribbean people, every week from Memorial Day until the Parkway is our week! All the same, kudos to NYC for celebrating us, and allowing us to celebrate!

According to the  Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) website Onecaribbean.org
Caribbean Week is “a celebration of the sights and sounds and unique vacation experiences and business offerings that the Region offers”

There are a host of events hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization, some free, some not so free. Events include a Caribbean Diaspora Forum, Caribbean Media Marketplace & Reception, Rum and Rhythm Benefit and Auction, Caribbean Brunch & More and Caribbean Rocks Concert hosted by Tempo.
